Location not far from temple, such sights as Kyoto Zoo and Nanzen-ji Temple, and a well-known Yachiyo restaurant and Kyoto Station. Helpful and efficient staff with a good portion of humor.

I was happy with hotel's handy and favourable location in northen Higashiama district of Kyoto. Location: the property was just next door to Ginkakuji temple. Tried some nice meals at Kobai, located near the hotel. I booked huge and well-designed room with a TV, three big beds plus a huge window.
Nothing not too like!

The hotel is conveniently located near the Philosopher's Path, making it a great choice for exploring this famous attraction. Guests can easily take a short walk to enjoy the beautiful cherry blossoms and serene surroundings.
The rooms, although small and outdated, have a unique charm and offer a traditional Japanese experience. The hotel's quirky atmosphere adds to its appeal, with original coffee shops and a small temple and garden nearby.

During our Easter holiday, we had a pleasant stay at a traditional Japanese hotel. the rooms were clean and spacious, and we enjoyed the Japanese-style breakfast that was included in our stay. the hotel was conveniently located near a bus stop, making it easy to explore the nearby temples and attractions. We also appreciated the complimentary toiletries that were provided in the rooms.
The hotel lacked modern amenities such as hairdryers and the unreliable air conditioning made our room uncomfortably warm at night. the bathrooms were quite small and outdated, making it difficult to maneuver around.

Celebrating New Year's Eve at this hotel was an amazing experience. The first positive aspect that grabbed my attention was the cleanliness of the hotel. The bedding was changed on a daily basis and the room was spotless. the beds were extremely comfortable, which allowed for a very relaxing stay. The location of the hotel was fantastic as well. Being able to explore the city by foot and having local transportation easily accessible was a definite plus. On top of that, the hotel offered an impressive breakfast selection. The variety of fresh food and different dishes made it easy to start the day right.
That the shower water pressure was low and it was slightly annoying to take a shower. , the room could use some updating.
